- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆After years of constant back problems including major surgery and private treatment my doctor referred me to Dr Jacks pain clinic Monnow Vale Hosp Monmouth in 2012. After a thorough assessment Dr Jacks gave me a caudal epidural injection which gave me three months relief, my second injection lasted just over five months before it stopped working, My third and last treatment has lasted over three years and has now stopped working; I now urgently require another injection to relieve me severe back pain. I have found out after numerous phone calls that I can no longer contact Dr Jacks Secretary to book further treatment and have be referred by my doctor which im in the process of doing today (what a waste of NHS time). I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer for which I have declined treatment and on constant morphine for pain relief but morphine does not help my back pain. Im up 83 and still try to be as active as possible which I have been; I recommend anyone with long term back pain to ask their Dr to refer the to Dr Jacks pain clinic it worked for me it could for you.
